Haaaaaaaaay.

"Tulad ng awit na pumipiglas sa kahon ng kundiman..."

I can't do it. I'm a chicken. Waaaaa, sana hindi na lang ako nag-Events, kasi natatakot ako magtanong sa companies for sponsorships. Looking at their names, I feel so insignificant.

Anobanamanto.

Adults. Scary. Eeep.

Honestly

That's it. I'm in Ethnic.

I don't suppose there's anything bad with it, other than the fact that you miss class when there's extra practice. Haha. It's ironic that I joined this club because of my friends, then to learn that they desperately want out when I've given my word. I suppose I can't blame them. It really is hard to catch up.

I just wish I don't feel so sad about it.

I mean, I made the conscious decision, effort and sacrifice to spend club time with them, even though I was REALLY considering Plaid Ideas. Sabay pinagpalit nila yung Ethnic sa Bead It. Hahahaha. Ewan. Tiisin na lang daw nila yung kaboringan. So ayun, kasama ko si Shei saka si Rosalyn. Baka sakalin ako ni Rosalyn pag ibahin ko pa club ko. At the end of the school year, FFF na kami (Friendly Friends Forever).

Hay.

There's a certain part of me that wonders why I always end up on the losing side of the bargain. Why is it that people who have no sense of loyalty (no, not you guys) seem to make life easier for themselves by having the balls to break off one committment after another? I wish I could do that, but I'd also hate to be on the receiving end of these kinds of atrocities; that's why I stay.

I suppose today is all about putting it into perspective. I might as well learn something while I'm at it.
---

HNO HWAY! HE DIDN'T!!!

Steve Nash got a crew cut.

I'm a little... APPALLED. Now I appreciate his unhappily clumped and wild hair, because it makes him look less like an alien.

Scratching around on that topic led me to this:

http://farlane.wordpress.com/2006/05/05/nba-comix-nba-confessional

I highly suggest you go take a look, because I nearly died laughing. Click around the site some more if you want.
---

Going to the library, I passed by a father and his little boy. I was astonished to see the kid turn to the foliage... and pee. I was about to stammer out that there's a men's bathroom around the corner, but since I'm not really sure (not as if I go to THAT bathroom), I quickly looked to the other side and walked on.

Ansarap matulog. :)

Er...

Currently trying to do research in History.

Er...

Either I've got the wrong person or Sappho really is a Lesbian? No, wait, she's lesbian because she came from the Island of Lesbos. *sigh* She's a great Lesbian poet? Hmmmmm...

NO COMMAS. JUST WORDS.

I have John Donne and Archibal Mcleish to thank for the wonderful Modernist school of Poetry.

They say that a modernist poetry should have four traits:

1. brief
2. direct
3. timeless
4. free verse

My emo poem is BRIEF and DIRECT, and will be TIMELESS as long as nobody gets around to actually defining it; it shall be in question forever! And it's pretty much in free verse. Heck, I don't think anything can be flatter than the pancake that is my poem. It might as well have been in prose.

We took up Donne's poem called Death. While Ms Manahan was trying to explain the line "poppies of charms", she went "Do you know the Sandman? Not the graphic novel ha," she added "the kind who sprinkles stuff." I was thinking of Death at that moment (as opposed to the usual Grim Reaper). Hearing the momentary reference to Dream made me smile.

Another good day in English.

The outcome

List of winners for the event two weeks ago. Maybe some of you would care to know... or maybe I'm the only one? Haha, anyway. I do hope they continue this.

WINNERS OF THE FIRST PHILIPPINE GRAPHIC/ FICTION AWARDS BY NEIL GAIMAN & FULLY BOOKED:

FINAL WINNERS
Prose:
1st place (tied) - "The God Equation" by Michael Go
1st - "A Strange Map of Time by" Ian Casocot
2nd - "The Great Philippine Space Mission" by Philbert Dy
3rd - "Atha" by Michaela Atienza

1st Honorable Mention - "The Omega Project" by Kim Marquez
3rd Honorable Mention - "Monstrous Cycle" by Cecilia Estrada
4th Honorable Mention - "Stella for Star" by Yvette

Comics:
1st - "The Mad Sad Incredible But True Adventures of Hika Girl" by Clara Lala Gallardo and Maria Gallardo
2nd - "Splat" by Manuel Abrera
3rd - "Dusk" by Rommel Joson
3rd - "Defiant: The Battle of Mactan" by Juan Paolo Ferrer and Chester Ocampo

I read Atha by Michaela Atienza. And it was really really good. That was before our computer got its memory obliviated; I'm sorry I wasn't able to read the others. I started a bit on The God Equation (because the title was pretty cool). I'm not sure, but I think the first few lines opened up to the setting of a crime scene. Since it was a little technical (um, basic technical terms used in investigations) and I wasn't concentrating properly, I opted to read it for another day when my mind wasn't rearranging words to form gibberish. I also took a look at Hika Girl's Adventures. It was... quite different, unique. It was simple enough to understand, weird, fascinating; I do think it would appeal to those people who liked Coraline, because it was also something that ran in that direction (you know, the darker side to a child's imagination and all that). Again, I didn't look at the others apart from that. The pdf took more than a little while to download. I do think the pdf versions of these entries can still be found at the FullyBooked site, if you click around long enough. Read some, and be inspired.

What this reminds me of

I came back to school expecting to breeze through because I did my homework. Wrong. I forgot to do AK, Geom and a review for Filipino (we actually had our Mid-Quarter a while ago). I had to forego the Geom assignment, because I had to use my recess to type in AK. I finished it in about 20 minutes, give or take a little. We checked the Geometry assignment, but I didn't do any of it. A slap to the hand-- I'll remember to take down all of my assignments next time.

---
I got told off by Sister Iris a while ago for "putting a cd into one of her machines", meaning one of the computers. She was furious because I could've spawned a virus attack on the computer network, if the cd I was using was burned. Fortunately, it was an original Pilates vid, so she didn't kill me this time. I don't know why but hearing her furious sent a wash of terror through me. And I'm not usually afraid of teachers; I bend rules most of the time (because I don't believe in following rules to the letter-- just enough you won't get in trouble with the law). I wish Ja was still here. It's ironic that she's friends with the nun (though a high-tech, internet-savvy, Star Trek-loving nun) when she's a nihilist. She could do almost anything in the CAI room, even print out some of her fanfic porn and listen to music (we popped in a cd once, to hear Arabian Sands for a play).

Speaking of Ja, this SOOO reminds me of her:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=emo

EEEEEMOOOO. For the people who've been wondering what it is exactly, this would be a good opportunity to find out and make your conclusion. :)

---
I told Howie Severinio how much I loved the IWitness ep-- on his blog. (He owns a blog! Imagine that!) He was nice enough to do a general reply to the people who sent the good feedback, myself included. You can take a look here:

http://www.gmapinoytv.com/sidetrip/blog/index.php?/archives/97-Underground-in-Samar.html

There are other pictures of the cave there too, so it's worth a look.

*Dad's pc is fixed, which is good because we can use the Internet now. There's a bit of difficulty in using it, because Blogger's Creat Post window seems to be incomplete even upon fully loading; there's no hyperlink button, bold, italicize... etc. So if you're wondering why I'm putting the raw address as is, and not as a link, that's the reason.
---

It's PE's Pilates routine exam tomorrow. Our group already has one-- IN THEORY!!! And from my experience, theoretical plannings are VERY VERY different from actual execution. I just hope we could scrape by it cleanly, without letting Ms Santos see that we wasted our time last week discussing the pros and cons of having four counts against the pros and cons of having eight counts.

Ice furry in my sleep

Another rainy day. No classes.

Was bored. After watching MTV reruns for two straight days (for lack of anything better, poor me), I think it's time to put down the remote for a good three days or so. Channel surfing even makes me cross-eyed now.

I'm munching on corn at the moment, something that we've been doing for the past week. We are corn-loving, corn-munching. Last time it was kamote with butter, although we soon got out of that. We've also watched Pride and Prejudice for the second time since Sunday. And mom wanted to watch it today too, but I told her I had to watch some Pilates to get some moves for PE. Hehe, we're fans of Mr Darcy. Naiinis kami hindi man sila nag-kiss sa huli, kahit sobrang cheesy ng ganun, haha.

No classes yesterday either, which meant we got to watch the live telecast of Ms Universe. Some feminists say it's as low as a dog show; I used to say that too, but what the heck, it's still entertainment. More importantly, it's a competition-- everyone wants their bet to win. It would've been nice to have Ms Philippines win. It's like... the Philippine Askal winning over Foreign Pedigree, like Ateneo winning over La Salle, and the Philippines becoming first-world in 20 years. It's a cinderella story, and we all know we're suckers for those kinds of things. (Note: not that Ms Philippines is comparable to an askal-- she's a very very good candidate, actually.) Nakakatawa, sobrang na-bad trip si Bianca nung wala si Ms Phils sa top 20. Nag walk out siya sa sama ng loob at di na nanood. Hahaha.

Missologists na pala yung tawag sa mga taong expert sa beauty contests. Would you look at that. The brilliance of the human mind in thinking up fields of expertise. It's like having the National Union of Potato Quality or whatever. But you have to hand it to them-- they know their stuff.

PGMA's Sona
It was a fine and marvelous plan, and it would even be more beautiful if they can execute it properly. (Unfortunately, life in the Philippines doesn't offer that kind of guarantee, so between booing Arroyo and deluding yourself, it's better to enjoy her good mood while it lasts.) Every PHRASE she uttered sparked five-second clapping-- I should know. I counted. It got annoying, especially when she was smilingly retelling feel-good stories and used it to chummy up with the masses. How vile. (She's bad at PR. I swear.)

I feel sorry for her though. How tough it must be trying to lead a country that doesn't believe you. Well, it's her fault anyway; she's still dodging her issues. But I think it can be disheartening. It's just sad...

I forgot to watch RPN's art film for Monday-- I was doing my homework. Tsk. I was able to enjoy Howie Severino's i-witness episode though: Dilim. And it was undoubtedly the coolest thing I have EVER seen on TV. For those who don't know what went on there, Howie Severino went into a cave. But not just any cave. It was one in Samar, so big and dark and unexplored, that you're not really certain what lurks there. "Bangungot sigurong maligaw dito sa dilim." And I agree. The cave was terrifying in its beauty, majestic and awe-inspiring. It was as great as exploring Egyptian pyramids, or suddenly discovering that a separate world lived under your feet altogether. There were eye-less fish and crabs there too, which was weird but fascinating. If you can't even imagine what naturally eye-less creatures look like, I suggest you watch it... somehow. Sayang, sobra kasing late na pinapalabas yung mga documentaries e.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
If you're not moved by this kind of beauty... well... Bato ka.

I miss pohtaytoh

The computer crashed itself about a week ago, and since the other, older (but not undignified) pc (Dad's actually) gave its life up about the same time, I haven't been able to update much.

Been itching for the internet.
---

Quick update.

Got an 85% in Geom, which isn't that bad. If you're an artist (and I suppose I am, since I suck at critical thinking with numbers), a passing grade is the best you can hope for. I passed, so that's it. Thank you to God for that. It's nobody's fault I'm bad with arithmetic operations... well, I suppose it's God's fault but I'm not pushing it.

I also did rather badly in Chem. Since when did Science started tinkering with numbers anyway? And I forgot the parts of the Tirril burner, as well as the combustion formula, and four items off the dimensional analysis part-- so yes, I've got 7 items predictably wrong.

The only tests I felt accomplished in was English and History, partly because that's really my forte, and partly because it's just a review.

Passed out on Algebra. I used to think Algebra was great, now that we have Geom. It appears that Algebra is still hell-bent on killing us with x's and y's. I sucked at factoring.

Events Com finally had its first official meeting last Wednesday. Yay! Feeling really excited about it.

Random thoughts

The computer is freezing

which sucks

and means that

I may not finish

this post.

Drat.

4th years had their mandatory CAT/Community Service thing a while ago, so we had to wait for them after departure time. Which means I got stuck in a car with three kids, ages ranging from 4-8, brattiness ranging from bad to appalling, and the overall car-ride experience ranging from tolerable to unhappy. It was like... 45 Minutes in Hell, just the waiting time. They were playing and pushing and shoving each other from the backseat to the front; I was in a corner, cold and huddled miserably. Napapaa nila ako, kaya medyo lamog-lamog na yung pakiramdam (UNCLEAAAAAN!). I was just too annoyed to care anymore, so I was resigned that it was going to be this way for the next hour or so. You can tell if I'm in a bad mood-- I just shut up and glare at something; I glared at my history book, and the red faced artifact on it.

Kids.

They're so... [insert non-offensive euphemism here]. Yak, ansama. Haha. Hay naku...

Finalists for the 1st Philippine Graphic/Fiction Awards are HERE. Take a look, they're pretty good (malamang, finalist nga e).

It inspires me! I want to write too.

I've chosen Ethnic as my club. It seems daunting, having to learn those instruments. I also passed in Plaid though. I'm not sure as to what part of the paper they assigned me, but I'm willing to be part of Plaid, even if I'm a contributor in name, but a member in essence. I still have to ask my sister to iron it out, but if I'm lucky, I might slip through a crack and somehow have two clubs this year.

Goodbye debate! I'll never regret leaving you. May the more intelligent creatures of the school let you prosper and bring you glory. I leave you for now.

The only thing I missed in being in debate was talking to Carissa.

I miss my class.

A little icon on the bottom right of the screen says "You may be a victim of software counterfeiting."

*cough*

Victim? I say PROPAGATORS!

I detest piracy, but that kind of thinking means you have to afford the lifestyle. I can't as of now. The other side of living off the mercy of those who feed you is that you have to abide by their "principles" as well.

Sigh.

We had a quiz in Computer Lab a while ago. WTH. I will perpetually suck in Computer class because it's the most anally boring school thing ever.
- - -

I was so restless yesterday that I took the guitar and asked dad to teach me, on a whim. So despite nursing some raw fingertips, I can happily say that I am making progress (which is a rare thing to happen, believe me). I now know A, B, C and D. And I can actually do them without having "pitchy tones out of tone", haha.

Under the blue umbrella, that which is the sky

Geom test: the weird thing about it was, I felt so giggly when it was about to start. Tipong kinikilig na excited na nerbyos na ewan. Like the test is a good thing... Anlabo, natatawa na lang ako kay Denden. I think I crapped out on three words problems-- no, make that four, but I'm not stressing about it. Haha, sabay kung anu-ano na pala yung grade. Tsk. Must get myself together. Uupakan ko na lang sa recitation. Habang madali-dali pa yung topics.

---
We had an emotional knockout round last night. Pretty much a sobfest, in other words. I was hiccupping too hard between sobs,
which was annoying because I was doomed to incoherence. Sheesh.

The house was quiet by 8, which is a rare thing to happen. I got to watch Gilmore Girls in peace.
---

Classes were suspended today-- we got the news in the midst of English. Hay. Gusto ko pa naman mag English, kahit medyo baha na yung classroom. Haha, not that the water was THAT high (3rd floor kami noh); the rain just kept coming in through the open side of the corridor and into the room, because of the wind.

"Maybe Noah's Ark will come to fetch us." --Ms. Manahan

Tapos wala na namang meeting ng Events Com. Ehhh. Kainis. Excited pa naman ako mag meeting.
---

Pinagalitan kami ni Ms Herrero kanina. She's scary. Antaray ng itsura niya!!! Tapos pag mag rerecite ka, napaka unencouraging ng reaction niya pag malabo sagot mo. Eaaaargh. Matino siyang lab teacher, but the acrobatics she can do with her eyebrows... my Lord. Ang taray talaga. Gah.

"Literary experiments running amok"

Once upon a time there has a young TERRORIST named FANTASTIK. He was PATTING NOTHING in the INSANE forest when he met ODIGLE-LIKEARTURO, a run-away ORCHESTRATOR from the POGI Queen MARYANN .

FANTASTIK could see that ODIGLE-LIKE ARTURO was hungry so he reached into his URINAL and give him his FLOP-EARED CALDERETA. ODIGLE-LIKE ARTURO was thankful for FANTASTIK's CALDERETA, so he told FANTASTIK a very SMILEY story about Queen MARYANN 's daughter PETRA. How her mother, the POGI Queen MARYANN , kept her locked away in a WALL protected by a gigantic BUTETE, because PETRA was so SNARKY.

FANTASTIK TURNED. He vowed to ODIGLE-LIKE ARTURO the ORCHESTRATOR that he would save the SNARKY PETRA. He would KISS the BUTETE, and take PETRA far away from her evil mother, the POGI Queen MARYANN, and THROW her.

Then, all of the sudden, there was a FUNKY SNORT and ODIGLE-LIKE ARTURO the ORCHESTRATOR began to laugh. With a puff of smoke he turned into the gigantic BUTETE from his story. POGI Queen MARYANN APPEARED IN THE LOO out from behind a PATOLA and struck FANTASTIK dead. In the far off WALL you could hear a HISS.

THE END.

Okaaay. Anlabo. But what the heck, hahahahaha.

Grumbles from last year

JULY 9, 2006

It has been exactly ONE year since Neil Gaiman graced our shores. And it has also been one year since I feel like kicking myself for not going, though I battled more than hell and high water in trying to organize everyone else's stubbornly uncompatible schedules to make room for mine.

Ah, the side effects of being in my mid-teens; you get to do things, but not exactly the kind you want.
---

I watched Notting Hill last night partly out of boredom, partly because I wanted to see Hugh Grant. The movie was flat and slow and sleepy. The start spelled it out right from the beginning, with the slow opening song "She", and Hugh Grant's stuttering narration. I know he's portraying the shy guy, but he never gets anywhere else-- maybe a toe in this direction, and a finger in that, but it's the same expression and delivery all throughout.

As for the script-- it had potential, but lacked the great line delivery and wit to catch anyone's attention.

It was disappointing, more so because you've got Julia Roberts in there too. The only interesting character there was Hugh Grant's nutty German flatmate, who reminded me of Dirk Nowitzki-- do most Germans look like they're yetis? Hmmm...

If there's one good thing(?) though, it's that the movie made me realize that Brits (or Europeans, for that matter) are the most peculiar people I've encountered on television. You never know quite what to expect from them. They're strange and fascinating and magical, in the most wonderfully oddish ways possible that leave you disgruntled in the morning. Maybe that's why they have leprechauns and other little green men at the other side of the rainbow...

Speaking of Europeans, I glimpsed a little of the FIFA World Cup a while ago: Germany versus Portugal. GO GERMANY! *huggles Germany* I think the country's great, that's all; it's not really about the team. (The last time I looked, they already scored 2, by the way. :D) Aaaah, the World Cup. The olympic-size soccer field looked so sproingy with the green green grass.

Grass. I love grass. Especially when it's green and tufty wufty.

I also like watching sports, but not being the participant.

Hehe, and I made it a point to know at least ONE player from any of the teams. And it's... DECO! Deco, #20, Portugal(!!!), who in my opinion, resembles the vocalist of Hoobastank, in certain angles.

Oh the knots you can knot!

Spoilage abounds.

Forgot to put this in the last post.

WEDNESDAY

There is nothing worse about riding in a small car than having a small, spoiled kid ride with you. The kid with the ultimate essence of ID (ayan, effective din si Caitrin mag report, kahit kulang-kulang). This was the kind you want to grab, strangle and slap some sense into, before threatening to throw them out the window (because it's shrieking for feeeshbaaaalls like hell). Someone cuff me. God forbid I ruin the child by rendering her able and independent. (I was being sarcastic, in case the tone doesn't come out...)

Hay. Blame the parents. It's sad and annoying that they can't even see the damage inflicted.

The side effects of carpooling. It makes my head throb.
---
FOR THIS DAY

I've been on junk food all day. I bombed my cereals with sugar, then ate Chiz Curls and Choc Nut and a lollipop. So much for a healthy start.
---

Ja's morphed into a domestic... THING. Hahaha. She's always helping with dinner, chopping carrots or vacuuming (or looking at pr0n, but maybe less often). She didn't get bitten by a shark, but who knows? Maybe Australia did something to her.
---

Still trying to pick clubs. Maybe I should just close my eyes and go eenie-meenie-miney-mo. The only attraction in joining Plaid Ideas is knowing that I can tweak it this way and that, because my sister is the Org Head. No, I'm not talking about corruption and all that. It's just that, this means there's the wonderful possibility of me suggesting writers who could come visit and impart their wisdom. *is thrilled* And maybe, just maybe, the school will approve because they know their Students Activities program is crap and they want PAASCU to think otherwise. Oh joy!

Tee hee. Sana pwede. Kung oo, susulatan ko si Conrado de Quiros tapos tatanungin ko siya. Randy David is great too, but I get lost in his terminologies and ideas.
---
Which reminds me...

Literary people I love:

Rudyard Kipling (even though he's all that for imperialism)
Jose Rizal (ang galing niya, sobrang makata)
Neil Gaiman (alam niyo na kung bakit)
Vladimir Nabokov (Pale Fire is really really really good. Go read it.)
Conrado de Quiros
Jane Austen
Haruki Murakami
Lu Hsun (author of A Madman's Diary, written in 1918. So yes, he's dead.)
Willian Goldman (I like him just for Princess Bride, and not for anything else)

Currently in the mood for watching Jojo Alajar's O Ano? vid. Isang beses ko pa lang napapanood pero ansaya panoorin.

Sa Artic Monkeys vid din, galing ng drumming. Kalimutan ko na yung title.

Snow Patrol's vocalist looks like Mr Gaiman in their You're All I Have video. Maybe it's just the hair. He doesn't look like him in other pictures though.

At the end of the week

I've put up another blog, Indefatigable Sleeper. I originally created this because I wanted to reserve the URL in case I want to start a different kind of blog; having a dream blog was the farthest thing from my mind though (I was thinking more of literary experiments running amok), but it was already named Indefatigable Sleeper in its creation. So it made sense that I could and should put dreams there.

Check it out, and do put in your comments.

This week's update:

SUNDAY

Manny Pacquiao fight: the first I've actually stayed around to watch. (Yay me! Oh Motherland, you can now welcome me from exile.) We went to Lolo's house to watch with him. It was okay (I like my Grandfather), but watching with mom is annoying. She kept psychologically ANALzying Manny Pacquiao and doing predictions that he was going to lose because of this and that.

Tell me, how painful is it to be a Sociology grad? I'm amazed Lolo didn't say anything about it; he just enjoyed the fight.

It was pretty boring before the telecast, so I took pictures with the digicam and played around with Lolo's trophies, carabao figurines and whatnot.

Took a picture of a baby bird that fell from the nest (it's facing the wall). It's a tiny thing.

THURSDAY

Class Encounter. I was getting teary-eyed in the morning, because I knew wouldn't be with III-3. Ky gave me a hug, which saddened me all the more.

The activity started with games. I hate group games when you're new and everbody else isn't. Needless to say, I didn't enjoy those very much. Ms Virgie's affirmation thing was after recess. I suppose it's nice to get compliments and all, but being unfamiliar with everybody, there's no consolation and guarantee that the comments I give are sincere, in the same way I don't expect the comments I received are. It's a sad part of reality. I numbed myself while the activity lasted; that way, I wouldn't feel so bad about lying to myself and to other people. The anticipated Open Forum was after lunch. In truth, it's too early to have class issues (it's barely a month!), so we targeted teachers instead. Ayun, puro sumbong tungkol sa mga teachers. Sir Louie was one of those-- my classmates were offended that he got mad and started comparing us with the next section and so forth. (In my mind's eye, his image suddenly sprouted horns, had an evil smirk and was laughing mockingly. I blinked, and it imploded.) It's amazing how quickly descriptions sour when it's one-sided. Honestly, I thought that Sir Louie had basis for getting mad; he DID give us the rules. Sure, maybe the you're-worse-than-anyone-else part was overboard in his sermon, but to be frank, I think that we're all too sensitive at times.
Other issues were the LPs, teaching method and assignments. The complaints had a point, but they were quickly getting exaggerated. (Buti absent si Arra, kundi kikilatisin niya si Ms Henson tungkol sa kanyang grammar, hahaha.) I think that by this time, we should all have a sense of responsibility, as third years. We should know how to act fast and make use of the time properly. Pag group work, yun lang. We take so much time just getting the work done that it sometimes drives me inwardly crazy. We're all pretty pampered, actually. A little stub on the toe, and we're already sniffling to Ms Virgie. In a way, we're preventing character formation and critical thinking. I mean, some people ask me my opinion on their opinion before they recite-- what the heck, it's yours, so why ask me? It's exasperating, tiring and it's driving me up the wall thinking about it.

This is like the issue of spanking-- you don't know what's rightly in-between.

To my batchmates: kung mahirapan man tayo, andyan si Ms Jose. She assured us she'll do everything she can to make it easier for us. Aalalayan daw niya tayo. And I have no reason to doubt that. (She's so nice. She said that she felt like a mother to all of us, and for some reason, I had to blink back tears when she said it.)

So, balik sa Class Encounter. After we closed the issue on the teachers, Ms Virgie wanted the newbies to talk. Out of the former section 5 people, ako lang hindi nagsalita. I was afraid I would cry if I did; a knot was already in my throat and my mind was going overdrive trying to calm myself before I let out a premature sob.

We finished early. III-1 wanted to do picture taking after. I didn't join in. The pine trees reminded me of the Baguio hoax we did in first year. Awww, guys, I miss you.

III-3 (former I & II-5), para sa inyo to:

Is this home?
Is this where I should learn to be happy?
Never dreamed
That a home could be
Dark and cold I was told
Every day in my childhood
Even as we grow old
Home should be where the heart is
Never were words so true
My hearts far, far away
Home is too.

(--Beauty and the Beast the Musical: Home)
Haha, drama. Pero miss ko na talaga kayo.

Fooling around. I was too drunk on laughter to smile properly.

I am busy

Oh give me the tiddles
and make me a bath
of strawberry scented soap

Shut up the biddles,
sack the whole lot
or tie them up with rope

Or maybe we all could
just get along;
it could actually be fun, you know

But still there's the glare
of the clock-tick's stare
And working hours are a blow

I've made a nonsense poem
right here--
wickedly inconsistent

From three to four
then three again,
my rhymes are noncommittant

[Musical inters--
intersection;
license brandished for rhyme]

Eleven o'clock blurs
past twelve it occurs
Oh right on the dot, my bedtime!
