On this week
Monday
We did the group experiment for the Investigatory project for the whole day. It went smoothly, even though we had to miss some classes. Incidentally, I was praying to high heaven (the night before) that some miracle would happen so that our first class for the day, Computer, wouldn’t have a test. It’s not that I wasn’t prepared; heck, I can’t care less. But I didn’t want my two groupmates (who were out observing) to miss anything. It’s a hassle to catch up on stuff. Incidentally, when I entered the Computer Lab (late and very out of breath from all the instructing I had to do), there was no test. Even better, there was no teacher. Yeah! So all in all, the thing was well accomplished by the end of the day.
Tuesday
Dissection, finally. Unfortunately, our group had no frog. Uck, Shei and I hurriedly went out to ask a manong to help us. Haha, salamat manong! So there, we had a frog. Actually, we had more than a frog. It was a VERY pregnant toad of gigantically epic proportions with an abnormal baboon butt that scared the hell out of us. It was rather hard dissecting it; it kept flailing its arms and legs, which freaked us everytime. Only one was dissecting; the rest was tasked to hold the pins down. (My fingers were locked by the end of about an hour and twenty minutes. I couldn’t bend them and stuff.) The worst part was putting it into the jar. We thought it was DEAD. And then, as the alcohol was put in (for preservation), it JUMPED! I imagined it hopping around and spreading bloody love all over with its intestines hanging out. And everyone just FREAKED. We couldn’t find the lid, so I had to cover it with my (gloved) hands (ewwww), and then the paraffin wax tray when my hands did NOT want to stay put. And THEN they found the lid, which was in the sink. We put it on and that was that, thank goodness.
Wednesday
Not much… we continued doing the script for the Asian Fest play.
The Filipino oral test started.
Haha, the tension was so thick it could suffocate you.
I started doing the IP paper. Four parts left to do.
Thursday
I learned a Chinese song! Hindi yung sa F4 ha. It was for the Musicianship Examination in Music.
“Wan li chang cheung, wan li cheung,
Chang cheung, --wai mien shi guh sheung,
Gao leung fei, da dao—sheung
Bien ti wang jin, sao tsai yung”
Some Ateneans advertised their school fair. Ano kayang naisip nila nung nakita yung classroom? Hmmm…
Our class had the test for Computer during Study Period. Grabe. Wala na talaga akong masulat kaya puro imbento yung nandun. My Computer grade would NOT surprise me.
Curses on Corel.
Finished doing the IP paper too. Started on 5, ended on 11 pm. Not bad, though a bit long considering I just finished up the four parts left. I fell asleep right after, so I wasn’t able to study for Algebra.
Friday
We passed the paper during Bio. At last. A burden off my chest. W00t!
Ja was absent. I thought she had walked out on her group at the last minute. Well, it was possible. I think she’s planning to leave them in the dust during the defense. Turns out she just had allergies, well—pretty bad allergies. I saw her after lunch. She just turned up to pass the thing.
The Algebra test was easy… at least for me. Strange, considering I didn’t study or anything. Knowing myself, I should’ve been having palpitations or a heart attack in the middle of it.
Ate forgot to bring the house keys, so andun lang kami sa front door, nakatunganga. We had ice cream for merienda. Afterwards I went to sleep, and didn’t wake up until 7:30 am today. Which means (other than the fact that I slept 12 hours straight to make up for my sleepless nights), that I got to watch Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends!!! Yaaaaaay! Seriously, it’s the best cartoon ever! Haha, sobrang galing ng script.
Piano at 3 pm today. Haha last week, sabi ni Teacher “Good.” HAH! Puri! Unang beses kong marinig un a. *palakpak*
Grabe… ang bangag ng entry na to. So ganun. Kaya…
