Penny for my thoughts?
I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but it seems that the Filipino Christmas season starts on the –ber months and ends on Christmas Day itself, when in actuality it starts on Christmas Day and ends on the Feast of the Three Kings… Things are a LOT quieter in the real Christmas season… makes you think that everyone else is asleep because of pre-Christmas revelry.
Appears rather backwards to me.
Just a thought.
Alright, so after the wishlists, I suppose I have to do my New Year’s resolution now. Haha, uso pa pala yun.
1. No more bigotry
I have to take away my prejudice, disdain and eliti—no, I think elitism gets to stay. Prejudice and disdain can go.
2. Keep my promises
I made two, I broke two, all on the same day. I promised myself that I wouldn’t wear Marc Abaya’s shirt. Damn, I tried it on and it is WEARABLE, I tell ya. Just a bit long though. (Nyak, saan na napunta yung paka-ilang ko?!) Maybe it’s because I realized that it’s MINE (mine, mine, mine!) and by doing so breaks the second promise I made. I swore I’d never be ridiculously childish to go “MINE, MINE, MINE”. Unfortunately, I caught myself thinking exactly that as I was drifting off to sleep.
Hay. Though the second resolution only applies to promises made AFTER New Year. Which means I get to break all my self-made promises only until Saturday.

my 2 cents worth... Filipino christmas does begin when the Ber months kick in and end after the chinese new year kaya you still have time to send out gifts to those you forgot. hehe.
