Felix felicis
Today is a good day. A LUCKY one, even. Rather odd for something that started with a horrible dream about a humongous anaconda that ate up my grandma and a niece (though I have NO idea what niece and whose).
We went to Riverbanks to do some shopping, yet again.
We entered the mall, and lo and behold: the Shoe Gallery! Shoes! My gut told me to look around. And I did. I walked in, looked around, tried a pair, and VOILA! I bought a pair of shoes in less than thirty minutes. Amazing. Didn't know that was even remotely possible with fickleness that is me.
Still no progress in deciding on gifts. I saw a cute, small Ryu doll, only to find out the whole set costs p2500. And then I checked out some nail polish. This part was gross cause a saleslady suddenly came up beside me and proceeded to apply the tester lip shine on herself like it was hers. EWWW. Talk about hygiene, mehn. You can sorta tell she does that all the time. Remind me to never use testers.
Bianca bought perfume as a gift for her friends. I tried one scent; it was the smell of exotic bagoong. Intriguing. Culinary achievement, I suppose.
And oh yeah, Ate bought me a Meg mag just because they had a PAGE on Neil Gaiman. Not even a section, yet I wanted it that much! Ack, slap me if I become a fan girl. I would've happily ripped out the page and paid two cents for it or whatever.
So anyway, I did my obligatory worship bit first before reading. Looks like they're doing a writing contest at the moment, in cooperation with Fully Booked and Meg, with Mr. Gaiman, of course. The thought of it positively thrilled me to bits, only to realize that I CAN'T write something decent when it's supposed to be good. I end up hating anything I do out of pressure. So most probably I won't do this thing. Not good enough, not inspired enough. I haven't even been drawing anything lately.
*sigh*
