Sale: 30% discount on migraines

Mom got mad at me yesterday for not spending my money on enough clothes. The purpose of the trip to the mall was to restock my closet. And I think I didn’t do that.

Well I can’t help it if I shop like a man!

I went to the mall with only one goal in mind: to buy myself an outfit for Christmas Eve. And I did. I bought a blouse, to pair up with a skirt at home. There. That’s it. And then I bought the LOTR: ROTK soundtrack. So all in all, I spent about p700 out of my p1500, and on just TWO things!!! Nyak, talk about being a wise buyer. That’s all I bought in the ungodly amount of time we spent in the mall.

Well the thing is, I’m kuripot at heart. I love my money, and I’d rather spend it on something I want to spend it on, whether it be a need or want. Clothes, at the moment, are a need (but they’re on the lower half of my priority list) and not a want. The soundtrack is a want.

Damn, between trying to explain my shopping philosophy and deciding whether to make a second trip to the mall, I suddenly realize that I’m not saving money this way. *sigh* Kaya hindi ako pwede sa Divisoria, cause I go for the, ehm, expensive classics. And now I can’t find a decent skirt ever since the whole boho look caught fire. Puro boho skirts and beads and tops and slippers!!! Eargh!

Mom wants me to spend my money. I want to do that WISELY. Between that and fickleness, I end up buying nothing. Leche. Explains the small pile of clothes I still consent to wearing. Well, not that few, but I’m just choosy. To the point where you’d actually want to hit me for just staring at my closet. I really should go buy stuff. I REALLY SHOULD.

That’s it, I’m going to the mall.
