School

Sembreak is done. I can't say I'm sad to see it go, since I never felt all that productive during that time. It kinda makes you feel less like a person and more of a pig. I certainly DON'T want to be a pig.

I wanna be a BUMblebee.

So everything back to normal again. Same old same old, though some of my classmates really did some funky stuff over the break. Melinda got her hair curled. It's just... weird. Most of the others, including me, got a haircut.

Seats were reshuffled. I got moved to the back, with Melinda at my right and Paola on my left. I'm looking forward to a lot of fun. I can't see the front, though, cause the person in front of me is kinda, well... massive? Replace that with any euphemism you like. But nothing big. I mean, the PROBLEM is nothing big.

The Plaid was also released yesterday. Finally! The weirdest thing happened when everyone got their copy. It became quiet. Because they were READING!!! And they were actually INTERESTED! Ang galing, haha!
The newspaper's cool, though the articles are too goody-goody and what not for my taste. But I love the layout. Kudos to Ja! I might submit an article, and then a sketch or two. It's odd that I've only submitted an article only ONCE, and that was when my sister forced me to.

For today, we had Swimming, second and third subject. I still did PE, even though I'm on my third day (of Christmas? Ayyy...). Horror of horrors, someone got my jazz pants! It's a good thing Ms. AJ had a sarong, which I wrapped around my waist. Parang galing akong beach, with the wet hair and all. It looked kinda cool, but of course I was worried about my jazz pants (actually, everyone else was worrying along with me, which I think was so nice of them). Jenina had a spare which she could lend to me. And when she handed it over... IT WAS MINE! Both of us were surprised. And then she checked her bag and brought out her REAL extra pants. Ah, so that's it. She took mine by mistake. As for myself, I don't really care as long as I got my stuff back nice and neat.

Finally finished Amistad in English. As usual, the class was exhibiting signs of ADD. I could only understand half of Anthony Hopkin's speech because of the noise. And when the Supreme Court was announcing the verdict... Gawd, that was when I lost it. "PLEASE, QUIET!!!" I must've sounded really mad, because ALL of them shut up at once. Cara was even like "Uy, Tina, sorry." And so I got to finish Amistad in PEACE.
There was still time left in the period.

So we watched Napoleon Dynamite.

Napoleon Dynamite is so drop-dead... STUPID. And not Forrest Gump-stupid. Not EVEN Spongebob Squarepants-stupid. It was... dorky, brain damaging-stupid. But it was funny, haha. Nakakairita lang. Kasi walang plot. He had a pet named Tina (-_-), which turned out to be a LLAMA. Tapos ambagal niya magsalita. Pero in furrness, magaling siya sumayaw. Haha, da moves! Haaay, basta. I could feel the Amistad virtues seeping away. I'm surprised Ja and I weren't brain dead by the end of it, hahaha.

Hehe, sarap minsan mageskwela. Syempre, nawawala yang opinyong yan pagdating ng CLE. Ayesa was scribbling down random Top 5 lists during lunch. I suggested she do the Top 5 Reasons Why We Shouldn't Have CLE list.

Half-day tomorrow. Woo~! I wish I could do something fun this weekend. Harry Potter approaches. I can't wait. *wiggles with happiness* ^___^
