Poh-tay-toh mornings

We had Lab first thing in the morning. We got the potatoes we were experimenting on a week before from wherever we put them.

And the stink was hell.

On my way out the door, I passed the open cupboard installed on the side of the board. Waves of nasty smelling stink hit me smack on the nose and clung there-- nearly gagged. If Dungbombs existed, most probably it would smell like those.
I feel sorry for the people who put them in their lockers.

Tsk tsk.

If that wasn't bad enough, we also had to get our two bean setups. Ten beans were placed in two cups, one only filled with one-eighth of water, the other cup half. I didn't wait and see what evil surprise it had for my nostrils. I simply covered up my nose with my handkerchief, got the darned things and held if away from me as far away as possible.

Note to self: Never ever get any organic thing, wet, one-week old and decaying, without a gas mask. Better yet, don't play with things that are bound to smell evil once you're done with it.

Anyway, Sir Mark was absent. Hallelujah! I wasn't able to do the Hay Infusion. Dreading to do it. It smells awful. Sort of reminds me of the LPC stuff I did last year. Eargh, plants. They're definitely disagreeable once they decay.

We had English right after. Did rather badly in a quiz-- well, my standards say so anyway. I don't know. Maybe it's the teachers. I wish I had all of my first-year teachers back. Especially Ms. Abarquez. Now English isn't my favorite subject anymore-- nothing is.
Algeb sucks. I won't be surprised if I failed. All the more reason to clamor for Remedial Math with Ms. Parinas. At least she's competitive.

I got two test results back today, Filipino and Business Math. Filipino was an average 89%. I lost 5 points to carelessness. Sucks. I don't think I have any future in Filipino-- not that I'm looking for one anyway. BM was slightly better: 46/50. I wasn't able to do the last problem correctly, since I was absent when they took that up, but not bad. So I can add. Good. I thought I was getting dumber in Math. Must be just Algeb, I suppose. No it's not Algeb, it's the teacher.

Misery, misery. Boo-hoo.

We're watching Florante at Laura tomorrow. All students have completely paid. Yep, special mention goes to my Assistant Tresurer, Carla. Good work on that one.

I'm still trying to devise a way in which I can keep accurate track of the payments for the Biotrip. I think I'll start off a new format on August. I've already revised my list twice. Third is tiring.
