Stupidity (eargh!)
And just when I thought my blog was safe and secluded... not that I'm not welcoming readers from my class (hi Paola! ^^), I just don't want them to see sensitive material. Gash that's gonna be scary. I'm actually contemplating on deleting my previous post *flinch*, if I'm not too lazy to do that.
It's the first time I realized how Vladimir Nabokov fitted into Pale Fire. I mean, that's the name written in front of the book, but I had no idea he was actually the AUTHOR of the whole thing, which makes John Shade, the poem, Kinbote and all the others, actually his fictional characters. Excellent, excellent. Very convincing of him. It's the first time I encountered a book like that-- I can't exactly describe it, but excellent all the same. I still wish that I can find an online copy of Shade's poem. I like it so much that I'm tempted to type it here. Oh well.
