Gushy
I haven't talked to Angel in the longest time ever... Or maybe it was just days ago? No matter. It seems that we had less time to just gush out our stories ever since vacation started. Which is odd. Shouldn't it be the opposite? Most probably because the number of people present in our houses have increased, therefore also increasing demand for the phone. Let's see... her siblings, my siblings, her parents, my parents... add to that her siblings' friends, my siblings' friends. And then there's internet. Gosh, didn't know how much we use the phone. Oh well.
The great thing about Angel, is that we can just be on the phone, even if we don't say anything. There are times we'd sigh, after having a good story, then tell each other to rest our jaws then... silence. Just restful silence. Nothing awkward at all. The funny thing about it is, we suddenly start giggling a little, until it crescendoes to a full-blown laughing spree. And what were we laughing about? I have no idea. It makes me feel young again. Well, like a kid again, at least.
We went to National Bookstore today and bought Sabriel and Abhorsen, since Ate's already finishing Lirael. Bitin na bitin e. The only bad thing about it was, these were the smaller paperback versions. My OC-ness was berating me for buying them. I dislike seeing one of my favorite trilogies coming in different sizes, the second book sticking out like a finger. What's done is done. At least I can reread Sabriel now.
I also bought ink pens, and a new sketchie. Very very happy, though I seem to be buying a lot of stuff nowadays. Bad.
