How to get to Sesame Street

Friday again. Yay.

Been poking around Wikipedia for a list of famous left-handed people. I came up with

Michael Rosenbaum (plays Lex Luthor in Smallville-- wooh!)
Prince William (!!)
Julius Caesar
Joseph Estrada
Gandhi
Adolf Hitler
Osama bin Laden
Michaelangelo
Kelly Osbourne
Pink
Owen Wilson
Hugh Jackman
Angelina Jolie
Matt Groening
Drew Carey

aaaaaand....

VIC SOTTO

His name's there. Take a look.

The list is pretty long. Some of the people aren't that famous-- well, I think so anyway, since I don't know them. It's an interesting mix of all sorts of people. I'm a bit starstruck at the thought that I share my left-handedness with a terrorist. Although Wikipedia being Wikipedia, it's hard to say which of it is true. But I do think that left-handed people are pretty special. Maybe I'll add my name to that list someday [waharharhar].

There's also a list of left-handed fiction characters.

Teacher changed my recital piece. THANK GOD!!! So it's now Andante Religioso, which is just five pages long, a whopping ELEVEN-page difference from Hungarian Rhapsody (16 pages of inky black evilness-- and that's the simplified version).

I'm nearly done with Hanon (the exercise book). NEARLY. The last exercise is about the tremolo, which is like a chord version of a trill. It has to be played as fast as a drum roll. I'm not kidding. It's an excruciating struggle to finish the exercise, because it's around four or five pages long of non-stop chord shifting and tremolo-ing. Actually, sabi nga ni Teacher na dapat tinutugtog ko yung lahat ng exercises ko sa Hanon nang hindi tumitigil tapos sobrang perpekto. So... that's exercise 1 to 60. Anyone care to try? I asked her if it's humanly possible; she said it was-- professional pianists do it everyday. I nodded, but I secretly don't believe her, not in this life anyway.

Had tons of quizzes today, in all subjects except for Chem. I wasn't able to go for adoration, nor confession because of that. It made me a little miserable; I promised God, but I didn't keep my end of the bargain. Hay.

Think I did pretty well in the Computer Lab long quiz. I got the hands-on part relatively fast; I was a little suprised at how quickly I got it, considering I only reviewed during the extra time in Health, and at the mercy of my teacher too. Yay me.

I had a dream the other night: Prom night na raw nun, tapos hinihintay ko date ko. Sobrang late na, wala pa rin. Then I'm like "teka, may ininvite ba kong date?" Sabay, wala pala!!! Nakalimutan ko mag-invite!!! So nagpahatid ako kay Dad. Pagdating ko sa AA, wala akong suot na sapatos.

So.

Yun naman ang babala.

Haaaay. Prom. It's so... unreal. And a little scary too. Pano kung wala akong mapiling tao na i-invite? Sayang naman bayad ko. Haha, ganun pala e.

I think BOYS are the badder half of the human species. I still have to meet one guy who didn't make me go "Oh no, I don't suppose you can't be more conversationally inept as the last one, can you?" And I still am waiting for someone to prove to me that, no, guys aren't as socially insensitive and disappointing as their actions proclaim them to be.

Maybe it's me. Maybe it's my world. But I don't think none of you would disagree with me-- we've all had our times. And we want to strangle them for it.
