I had the sudden inspiration to Google that old Sunsilk Softtouch ad to look for the adsong, which brought me to this forum:

And when I saw it I was like, WOAH! I didn't know there were so many people looking for that song, all of them delicately trembling on the brink of crazy desperation. There are occasionally helpful bits, such as the lyrics (finally got those), although the identity of the artist and title in question are still being disputed. I do suggest you take a look, just in case you pick up something I didn't notice, haha. Though there are some amusing parts there too.

Towards the bottom there was a post that said:

TO UNILEVER: Thank you very much for naming the song, and i do agree... where can we get that? are there any promotional copies of that song? For a christmas gift perhaps.... you'd sell more if you offer a free cd together with a sunsilk soft touch shampoo, am i right?
